Physics is hard to define in just a sentence or two. If I tried, I would probably say something like "physics is the study of the motions and interactions of matter and the laws which govern them." This is certainly true, but it doesn't do justice to the most amazing and fundamental field of science that has ever been invented. Physics is an act of discovery, of revelation, of looking through the complexities of nature and describing them in the simplest terms possible. It's about finding mathematical connections between things that seem completely unrelated.
This website is meant for students (specifically, my own), but is open to anybody. It started as the project of a brand-new teacher four years ago. As this naive new teacher found out, building and maintaining a good website is a lot harder than anybody could ever imagine. I stopped maintaining it a few years ago, but am now attempting to return to it. So, for the academic year of 2016-2017, I hope to be actively updating it!
